Sometimes I think about how Napster & Grokster were immediately destroyed despite filesharing having clear non-infringing, time-shifting, & other positive uses, and yet AI tools like this, built on way worse infringement & used to lie & abuse in really gross ways, are huge parts of our economy now
This is one of the worst, most horrifying exposures we have ever seen. It is hard to overstate how bad the things that people are using tools like for are, and it's insane to pretend like these tools are anything other than nonconsensual porn machines
