The name Xutu refers to the name of two boulders below the island of Fifla (from Arabic filfil, pepper). The Brits yturned the name to Sciuto as apparently the X is hard to pronounce 🤷🏽♀️X is sh. It features heavily in our language.

it's winter solstice so its time to feel emotional about the astronomically aligned Mnajdra temple complex. what did they see when they gathered there for solstice and the sunlight touched the limestone altars. what stories did they share in that long night. what did the world look like.
