They need to have a firesale.
Cybertrucks are piling up -- apparently no one wants to buy them -- but they can't stop making them, b/c shutting the factory down is too expensive. Great work all around.
Tesla Cybertruck inventory goes through the roof
Tesla Cybertruck is experiencing a significant increase in unsold inventory in the US and facing huge challenges in meeting initial sales expectations.

We have not even begun to find a way to politicize the gross corruption of the Trump Administration. Just the outright firesale of impunity for people who pay him for it.
Two former Wells Fargo executives were fined $8.5M by the Biden administration for covering up the bank's infamous fake account scandal.

Trump just slashed those fines to a paltry $150,000 after Wells Fargo gave $1M to his inauguration.

See how this works?

i have contemplated the orb and am congratulating netflix on their firesale purchase, five years from now, of the smoldering remains of the ellison media empire

They have a firesale going, and it is wild.

I’m sure Indian billionaire, Sunny Varkey, wants to give Farage a ton of cash to improve the lives of the people of Clacton.
And definitely not to lobby for crypto or fossil fuels or to have first dibs on the firesale of British assets (eg the NHS) that Farage is bartering for power.
FFS wake up UK.

3/ Who needs safety features when you can have a fucking flashy logo and a Twitter account that's constantly shitting out nonsense? #TeslaSucks #FireSale #FuckingElectrifying

Look the whole "dollar firesale" thing is overdone, but global investors have been expressing their doubts about US policy competence ever since Liberation Day. They find the whole TACO thing less alluring than their American peers.
So it doesn't take much to make them anxious

"News outlets have amplified the story" is in the lead paragraph as if the NYT did not give midnight-commercial-firesale-level real estate to this obviously false story from the start

hmm... this was happening for 14 years here. now they have switched to the opposition and are complaining about everything they broke so badly it will take enormous resources and iron will to hold the country together. and the grifters want to continue the firesale...
It's the same.... SHITZ

The Asian countries that hold our debt could end this right now. A China/Japan firesale of US debt bonds would have us in a depression, with trade markets already looking elsewhere, we would be screwed.

Arch shouldn't have thrown that and I'm starting to slowly unwind my position in ArchCorp. But I'm in a firesale on Cam Coleman. Can't find a market maker who will offer a fair price on this guy. How do you let that get picked? You're huge!

If Trump really does have ~$450 million in liquid form, James will probably just seize that and then Trump will be forced to firesale some assets to keep the lights on and payroll going at his properties

IMF shock therapy forced us to privatise, at firesale prices, our (profitable) banks and public monopolies. It also destroyed most of our industry.
Austrian corporations have been ilegally ransacking our ancient forests.

theyre very bundled up together now. Especially since OpenAi is apparently deep into DRAM and they have infinity weird deals and options with the other companies. That is how you get firesale type stuff, but i think they should have another year in them

Oh damn we're gonna have that theme around for a while, another awesome clip!🤣🔥 #Tesla #Firesale #Musk #Trump

Administration props up farming industry kneecapped by tariffs. To what end? Former buyers develop supply routes elsewhere and American farmers still don't have enough markets. Prediction: aid to farmers doesn't save farms and corporate farming operations buy them at firesale prices
October 6, 2025 at 12:42 PM
yes, but that is insane. without a consumer base oligarchs will have nothing to sell to anyone, owning something at a firesale price will be meaningless if it can't generate profits. they won't even be able to sell anything abroad as no one will buy American products.

out the middle class and have a Firesale where millionaires and billionaires buy up homes, property, and everything else during an economic collapse.

man the second this shit pops, we are going to have the computer firesale of all time
“.. ‘many system vendors will go bankrupt or exit product lines due to a lack of memory. Mobile phone production will be reduced by 200-250 million units, and PC and TV production will be significantly reduced.’ Yikes.”

I have boundless empathy for Canadians who voted for Carney because his name wasn't Poilievre, but man, watching Mr. "Elbows Up" turn around and start a firesale of our public assets for foreign (American) investment has gotta be a bitter pill.
