It’s one thing to discuss these decisions from a distance, but it’s another to live with the dangers and see the human cost firsthand. I only wish the people making these decisions understood the real consequences for those of us living through them. 🇺🇦💙💛
I really despise young men & women being put in harms way over decisions made out of incompetence. As A US citizen I don’t understand why we are involved with Iran as they are only dealing with issues we have imposed. And lastly I would hold our president and Israel accountable!

This is an intensification of a movement I saw firsthand in Canada in May. Canadian products were often clearly labeled as such. No one can blame them for not wanting to buy U.S. goods and—perhaps—U.S. companies will pressure the Trump admin to stop its absurd, damaging policies.

I know Jim Henson's work by reputation but have barely seen any of it firsthand, but I know enough about his life and career that I wrote this the other day in response to an anecdote shared about Charles Martinet early in his career as Mario's voice actor:

Specifically, he mentioned that being insulted by Mario would surely cause at least a handful of kids playing the game to cry. Charles Martinet really is one of those rare performers like Jim Henson or Mr. Rogers, where enriching children's lives through media feels like it's what he was born to do.
