I’m a big fan of bridges and other massive chunks of infrastructure like bridges, tunnels and trains.

Oh.
Never heard of this but it differs from the ‘flexbody’ it seems.

Hens teeth territory tho…

I have a Flexbody. The biggest limitation is that Hasselblad lenses don’t have a lot of excess coverage for movements. If you’re working moderate to close distances, it’s fine. But limited for architectural work. It’s great if using a CVF back.

Thanks. One limitation of the Flexbody is the limited size of the lenses image circle. They weren’t designed with movements in mind. Using a digital back eliminates that. Making very generous movements possible. Also not the camera of choice for anyone who wants to work quickly.

Hasselblad Flexbody.
I’ve never explored that with mine. But I have seen some outstanding TS work done with them. They are a little limited in that they only tilt in one direction. I usually used a SpeedGraphic for that sort of fun.

If you google the Flexbody instructions, there is a chart that gives you an idea of how much you can move each lens. The mid range lenses do ok, the wides and telephotos have more limitations. However that’s at infinity focus. Close distances are more generous. It’s workable.

I think I’ve talked myself out of buying a Cambo RS body to use with my Hasselblad lenses and CFV. In reality, my Flexbody does basically the same thing, just a little less precise.

ok the thing that would work out of the box is called a hasselblad flexbody and that costs exactly one million euros

I think Pentax had shift lenses on the 67 as well.

Have a look at the Flexbody. Expensive but is probably as close as you'll get.

At this point, I really need less cameras. My main wish would be to improve my LF beasts, well, mainly something easier to handle than the Calumet C1 8x10 - it’s just a bit too heavy for me on a lot of days.

As to wish list, I would love to acquire a Pentax LX and a Hasselblad Flexbody.

Had a look at the Flexbody earlier, seems like such a bulky contraption as to not really offer much weight / size advantage over the Wista tbh.

I can get tripped up with my Hasselblad Flexbody. Same kind of thing… too many moving elements to get out of sync when you’re out of practice.

Took the Hasselblad FlexBody for a spin today, to get a memorial bronze sculpture on the ground and a stone monument at the back in focus with a slight tilt. It's for a workshop project.

By the way I saw your post yesterday about the FlexBody please share the pictures when you'll get them developed.

Didn't know that "thing" existed, now I'm curious to see how they come out.
