Scanning old pics, so here's Buddy, the world's most fabulous budgie, whom we brought back from the US. Talked beautifully ("Buddy!" "I love you!" "Buddy bites!" "Aargh stop it!"); loved napping on my shoulder; once escaped, but came home after a good flyabout. Died at 14 in 2007. Miss him every day

Hotel falcon watch. T&C took off for a brief flyabout. One now on ocsr top ledge south corner. The other flew up to the elevator shaft out of sight. Off for my driveabout!

Honestly! When I finally goaded her out of my window blinds she headed for the backdoor with the poise of a bee that was NOT AT ALL confused or stuck, merely inconvenienced during her day of royal flyabout 🙃

Gallaudet Chummy Flyabout - you don’t get aircraft names like that any more…!🙁 I’d thought from the surname that it was a French design, but it’s U.S. ; love that it was powered by motorbike engines and that it was a tight fit as a two-seater and would fit on the lawn of an average back garden.
