yes, it's a javascript library

typically ".js" is used for nearly every JavaScript library because it ultimately is a .js file to import

Redact started because I wanted our React sites to ship less JavaScript. Now we use it every day, and other people are shipping it in production too.

Same app, less JavaScript. Excited to bring it to more people.
Introducing TanStack Redact 🌴

A smaller runtime for your existing React app. Add it to your build config and ship less JavaScript without changing a single line of application code.

Works with TanStack Start, Vite, Vinext, and Next.js.

JS parser news...

The next SWC major is inspired by the Yuku compiler architecture.

- Up to 3x faster native parsing
- Up to 10x faster parsing through the JavaScript API
- A flat, ESTree-based AST designed for speed, memory efficiency, and JavaScript extensibility

to be clear I mean javascript obviously

I had my AI agent create an app called “Lunch” to help me with decision fatigue and boost my productivity. It has a few pictures of things I might like to eat. Tapping one spawns a subagent to order that item on Uber Eats and 60-90 minutes later I’m eating. It’s 600 thousand lines of JavaScript.

This is like how React introduced hooks because developers would not learn actual Javascript basics. I will not elaborate for free.

Well, JavaScript (technically typescript) -- I'm just doing it for fun, though

MAYBE I WOULDNT HATE MAKING WEBSITES AS MUCH IF JAVASCRIPT WAS DEAD IN THE GROUND.
October 28, 2026 at 6:37 PM
it feels like cheating that javascript lets me declare an array of objects like this

const foo = [{}];
