That's twice in two days I've seen a reference to that old rock'n'roll story. They certainly had that clause in the rider, but the safety thing was retconned much later. (The first time it's referenced, the only result was a huge foodfight, and nobody mentioned safety at all.)

Funny coincidence that Viva Pictures is distributing this movie which actually was made in China. Foodfight as it turns out wasnt only distributed by Viva but also was partially produced in China at the end of production to where the animation was "completed".
