ive had an eating disorder since i was 13. my parents got divorced, my mom had to enter the workforce from the very bottom, and she was straight up too proud (see: racist) to go on foodstamps so we straight up went fucking hungry in highschool, and after a bit too.

my mom's social security was reinstated nearly a month ago now but they havent gotten back to us as to when they are giving us her money. genuinely we've just been living off of foodstamps and the grace of god for the past few while.
my mom's social security woes got cleared up but i feel like that put a big scare into the both of us. I'll definitely need to get a job eventually, she won't be here forever. I'm glad it got cleared up, but its like. man. 😭

But because nothing effects them *personally* they dont ever critically think about the bigger picture. They dont realize that money spend bombing people in iran is less money for foodstamps, or better roads. We don't have to push people down to elevate others cause at that point everyones drowning

around when i got my foodstamps restored back to what i used to get and subsequently was able to nourish myself "properly" (read: i had a lot of salty starchy foods) again i noticed that the frequency of my faintness plummeted crazy style. nuts what regular salt intake will do to a cunt

At my MIL's this weekend. Genuinely thought I'd sleep worse cuz I can never breathe here. Instead it's been the best sleep since the foodstamps bs. Apparently not waking up to feed cats makes a big difference.
