One of these cut me off in traffic yesterday.
As in, I was driving my car and it not only cut me off on a 30mph street, but sped away - quickly.
No signals, no rear light or reflector, not even any footpegs. Just vestigial pedals.

I got a pair of motorcycle footpegs, very inexpensive, swift delivery and the castings bore the same marks as the OE Yamaha ones. 👍

Must be spares support for minimum of 10yrs after model is discontinued as I understand it, then there's NOS supply, where possible.
I also just received a pair of footpegs from China via Temu (1st time using them) they're identical to the Yamaha ones, casting marks the lot. Fraction of the cost.

You can spot them by the enormous coil-over shock on the tall rear suspension - a good 40cm of travel and there was no chainset - just footpegs. Looked expensive too.

You get to decide how much it leans back when you build it. I think most of the lean-back choppers are built around the idea of leaning back on a duffel bag or something.
Mine has low handlebars and a pretty neutral riding position. I like the footpegs directly under me for bumps.

For me the problem wasn't reach to the handlebars, it was my legs. Since the footpegs are in more of a mid position compared to many cruisers, I had to fold myself up a bit. I did get plenty of seat time on it, as it is my wife's bike. She's 5'7 and it fits her very well.

In one of the comics, Gung Ho, Tripwire, and Torpedo ride on back to reload the rockets. But there are no footpegs on the toy. (Plus they'd be vaporized by the rockets launching. And Stinger missiles can't knock out tanks. Except maybe HISSs with glass cockpits. Growing up ruins everything.)
