Gloriavale survivor @LiliaTarawa critiques the documentary Devotion, revealing how its portrayal overlooks the deep-seated conditioning, leadership complicity, and systematic ab*se within the high-control community. She challenges claims of reform by exposing how internal secrecy and forced forgiveness culture continue to shield serial offenders from genuine accountability.👉 Subscribe to Cults to Consciousness Clips for more cult survivor stories: https://www.youtube.com/@UCbgGLhs1S-eKoTUlrIO20BA 🎥 Watch the full podcast here: https://youtu.be/CugG9xjHVlo?si=4gCZgCAbIDGHcsFq #gloriavale #devotion #newzealand #SheliseAnnSola #cults #escapingcults #cultstoconsciousness

We're living in truly crazy times, and things that would not even be remotely controversial ten years ago now bring ire to certain parts of society. A while ago, the idea of Christopher Nolan filming an adaptation of THE ODYSSEY would bring universal interest, but now any perceived ""woke" decision brings multitudes of vitriol and "discourse". Today we take a look at this film on it's own merits, and see how a myth that has evolved through centuries is recontextualized for our day and age. Join us as we aura farm with Agamemnon and take a journey with Odysseus to Ithaca as we encounter war, trauma, acceptance, and forgiveness on 70mm IMAX (none of us saw it on this format). #TheOdyssey #ChristopherNolan If you like our content, please make sure to LIKE, SUBSCRIBE and SHARE!
