I'm not so excited about PBM reform until the following question is answered:
"Where will they take less money ? "
Their greatest skill is making up what they lose in one segment with money from another
Odds are they will charge manufacturers more for formulary positioning

1. Don’t control your claims data
2. Don’t control your formulary
3. Have to pay more for “Specialty Drugs” that have nothing special about them

They will prevent Drs from prescribing the best med for you because it's not on the formulary they defined. That's crazy.
This legislation has to consider these issues. It can't ignore them. Otherwise the PBMs, sans pharmacies will still have the same control over our medications

They will prevent Drs from prescribing the best med for you because it's not on the formulary they defined. That's crazy.
