He served the party’s three most recent presidents, Bill Clinton, Barack Obama and Joe Biden; was a member of the House of Representatives; and spent two terms as mayor of Chicago. Now, he’s eyeing a bigger office: the presidency. Where does he think his party’s problems lie? And what needs to be done to make them match-fit for 2028?
