The cliffs of Polruan a small town opposite Fowey. There are fantastic boats sailing in and out of the Fowey estuary but this is my favourite.

This 14th century blockhouse window is in Polruan opposite Fowey. It gives a view to the mouth of the Fowey Estuary.

This is almost opposite the little porthole like opening I posted earlier. In the 14th Century a chain was used across this end of the river, from Polruan to Fowey, as a defence mechanism.
