The one that inspired me to write this was the fact that every greatarcher I've run into so far has arrow that track far enough that if you're in freeaim, even if you immediately start moving perpendicular to the arrow's path the moment it's loosed, it has a decent chance of still hitting you

Actually no Iron Keep does cross the line in the "physics simulation" area, for two reasons, both related to the archers:
1) Their greatarrows have extremely heavy tracking, to the point that if you're in freeaim you have to start moving the second they fire and sometimes even that won't do it

I mean: Yeah, the drawback of being in freeaim on PC is: I have to focus hard in missions like the finale of Avi Schwartzmann's KnowWay storyline, in which I have to get 35 headshots with an enemy count of 40 overal in that mission. Otherwise: I love the freeaim on PC.

I think freeaim is the worst thing to happen to the Metroid Prime titles and making shooting feel better incentivizes design and story choices such as "fuck it I guess Samus is around for every Federation operation now instead of being The Last Resort"
