feeling fed up with modern programming, i've been learning how to write Pascal using FreePascal. the syntax is very funky, but it's so refreshing to use something old and stable that doesn't get in the way... maybe this is how i start enjoying coding again :)

FreePascalのGTK4バインディングを作ってるひとがいる。韓国の人なのでIME対応もバッチソ。スゲー。
ただ付随するライブラリが莫大なのでインストールして確かめられる気がしない。
AIに聞いたら教えてくれるんだろうか・・・

FreePascalのGTK4バインディングを作ってるひとがいる。韓国の人なのでIME対応もバッチソ。スゲー。
ただ付随するライブラリが莫大なのでインストールして確かめられる気がしない。
AIに聞いたら教えてくれるんだろうか・・・

I started with Turbo Pascal. FreePascal is a more modern version.
I still enjoy Pascal languages because of the very fast compile times, as well as access to various styles of programming.

Easy to use and efficient graphics libraries were the hard part about getting the code to do what I wanted.

i'm not going to let that stop me toying with all the weird stuff though. like yeah sure give me the swift toolchain for windows. give me lazarus/freepascal, give me ATL, MFC, *and* WTL...

やっぱAVXレジスタの扱いが上手くないんだろうなー。
自分はポインタ記法が純粋に嫌いなので、日向にポインタを見せないclass型が好きじゃが、AIにおまかせすればいいのでPascalにこだわる必要ないかもなぁ、等と弱気になるワタシ。
まぁ効率を考えたら自作レイトレなんて意味ないからこれからもpascalでアマグラミングを楽しみます

９９行レイトレ、C++ソースと比べてFreePascal大体３倍位遅い。

Change that to 'is' and 'does'. I'm writing a program right now in FreePascal using the Lazarus IDE. A bit rusty as when I was programming for a living our shop was nearly all Java. We did some great things with it!
