Discover Ancient History at the Dutch-German Border Event
People in the Dutch-German border region can soon learn about the ancient Funnelbeaker culture. On 30 May 2026, a special event in Gronau will show how people lived 5,000 years ago. Visitors can make their own pottery or use VR goggles to travel back to the Stone Age. This project is a cooperation between several Dutch provinces and German partners. It is supported by the European Union and the Interreg program. The goal is to make history accessible and strengthen the bond between neighbors across the border.

You mean like a book? Or a TV show? Also, it would be nice to see the funnelbeaker culture. I hope it succeeds!😲

Stories about prehistory are a great way to teach people, but only if the settings accurate.
