Nope. I was able to open it in PKHex no issue and restore it to a cart using my GBOperator.

Hmm, the older PC's might be harder but it might be a fun project to look at. For arcade games, MAME is your friend and for portables! I mentioned the GOATed GBOperator in the other thread, but I'm unaware of anything for Game Gear/Lynx etc

The 3d is quite pricey though, at $270USD it's a hard swallow but the SNoperator is $60 (also the sister product, the GBoperator for Gameboy/Advance titles is top tier and I will recommend it to literally everyone)

Oh for sure, right on both counts. If you got a GBOperator, you’re already primed to use PkHex for transfers, but to go from Bank to HOME you’ll have to have already had a 3DS or mod one anyway since you can’t download Bank fresh anymore, or skip Bank and hack a launch Switch.

I finally got around to getting myself a GB operator. It works really well, Plus it's really useful for backing up save files. #GBOperator
