Patrick Stewart story:

Night before my GCSE Chemistry, I waited for Ian McKellen and Patrick Stewart backstage after Waiting For Godot. Patrick asked what’s in my bag, I told him about my exam. So Stewart and McKellen told the Green Room to “shush” as they both tested me on the Periodic Table.

"Britain's role in ending slavery is often overlooked by our schools"...except it's on the bloody GCSE history syllabus!

Because all you're doing is broadcasting shitty opinions and making people draw lines in the sand.

So, schools have rules against students using genAI in their work, but then I find this GrokSlop on a classroom wall, made I assume by a teacher. It doesn’t even have any educational value: they’re just bad cover “art.” I’m actually quite annoyed.

If a level is required then surely grade 5 or above in English Language GCSE would suffice. I wonder how many MPs would achieve a grade on an English A2 paper...

Frank Miller and Peach Momoko collaborating is like finding out your problematic uncle and the most talented person from your GCSE art class are pals now.
Frank Miller told us at Lucca that he and Peach Momoko are already making another book, and he says some of her ghost story art was scarier than anything he could imagine. Who's excited?

Not that I am supporting it in any way but it's A-Level as a foreign or second language. It would be scenarios like buying a train ticket rather than analysing Chaucer. Albeit a quick Google tells me that qualification doesn't exist, only at GCSE level. 🤔

5ml to 95ml = 10% 🤔🤨 Now, I failed my maths GCSE in 1999, but isn't that 5% and not 10%?

Of 86 scientists named in GCSE-level exam specifications, just one is a woman.

Cambridge researchers have looked at what that absence might mean for girls choosing whether to continue with STEM.

Just worked out, via Russian (did it for GCSE), what "Belgrade" means 🙄.

Girls typically outperform boys in most STEM subjects at GCSE level.

Yet far fewer go on to study physics and some areas of maths.

Cambridge researchers have examined whether what – and who – they encounter in science lessons plays a part.

I believe I’ve made a genuine historical discovery this evening by reading a real life primary source. I think Mrs Thatcher (not that one, my GCSE history teacher) would be proud of me.

Of 86 scientists named in GCSE-level exam specifications, just one is a woman: Rosalind Franklin.

Cambridge researchers ask whether the women missing from school science could help explain why fewer girls continue with some STEM subjects after 16.

I was thinking this today...

How about - for reparations - have the affected peoples draw up a compulsory unit for GCSE History, or for PHSE
