we have been using azenta/genewiz and I'd been happy with cost and turnaround time.

Thanks of course to Genewiz for sponsorship, and our fabulous speakers @drsimonbaker.bsky.social

Azenta-Genewiz - currently wiping the floor with Sigma, IDT and especially ThermoFisher for qPCR dual labelled probes. £85 versus £350 (Genewiz vs Thermo). It pays to shop around...

We had good experience with Genewiz

Also use GeneWiz. In terms of data, definitely better quality than the other companies I've tried and much more reliable

You could check with Azenta/Genewiz. I find their prices reasonable and turnaround is fast.

IDT prices seem to inflate like groceries these days. Highly recommend 10nm scale for >60nt oligos from GeneWiz, best deal on the market I've seen-- even if you have to wait a few days. Cheapest gene block synthesis now from Twist also.

Seconded! Historically, I had great experiences with GeneWiz tech support (not sure if/how the Azenta acquisition affected this)

Interesting poster by Genewiz showing all the complex multiomics info that can be gathered from a single patient sample. 🧬 Additionally, they explored the single cell transcriptome on FFPE tumor tissues and show that better insights in human health can even be obtained from minimal samples. #RNGS25

I've used Azenta / Genewiz too for easy and complicated sequences.
March 5, 2026 at 3:06 PM
Genewiz continues to disappoint after the Azenta buyout. Yikes.
October 28, 2024 at 12:41 PM
we have been using Azenta (used to be Genewiz) its probably not the cheapest 🤷 but it seems reasonable and very quick turnaround

GeneWiz have worked for me in the past. Anda recently applied something very large and repetitive for us (not promoter but I am still in awe). Twist rarely bother with anything remotely tricky and then give up pretty easily other times, so I’m not surprised by this.

Hi,
Maybe Novogene? Many colleagues are using their services (our lab as well), but recently we tested GENEWIZ (Azenta) for a whole transcriptome project...they are a bit cheaper and customer support is very good. :) I know they offer a fast track option for their services.
