i def need to add a "no-tls" path to hurl. It's pretty involved to get tls up on a platform compared to just http. Maybe ill split it into hurl and hurls or smth that share some library code
or I may try (a fourth time) to split hurl into one program per protocol.... like httpc/httpsc/gopherc/gmic
