On our walk down to the river Irwell yesterday, we managed to catch a glimpse of the Flying Scotsman at East Lancs Railway Station. Down by the river the group learnt about local plants and flowers and admired some beautiful yellow irises. Thankfully we avoided any heavy showers.

Was a joy to join 100 people today for a community bike ride in celebration of our 6km of cycle lanes between Chorlton & central Mcr.
A great reminder of how joyful our journeys can be, with the right infrastructure and support, and whatever the weather! 🌦️🚴🏽♀️
