Any fans of the GP2X console from GamePark Holdings? Here are some photos of mine taken a little over 15 years ago.

Still works like a charm, ofc. :-)

Uniquely unsentimental about the Vita. It was a cool little handheld to play the current crop of indie games on, but I reflect on it in much the same way as the few years I had a GP2X.
March 1st, 2012. Just got our Vita on. This unit is still going strong, too!

What are your fondest memories of Sony's last dedicated handheld?

I keep thinking I should be something more up-to-date.
But the old GP2x does the C64, Speccy, and classic MAME games.
What more could a retro-gamer ask for. 😉

And also a GP2X F100, I have a soft spot for this little open-source handheld as it was the first time I made any kind of game for distribution after staying away from the industry after my one horrific experience in it. As such, I tend to pick them up almost automatically. #RetroGaming

I found my GP2X breakout board, no PSU though and I can’t remember what it needs. I’ll look it up, it’ll be fun to see if it still works

i think the best thing about Steam Deck is the fact it led to a resurgence, and increased general interest in software tinkering

there used to be a whole bunch of heavily customizable devices like this. Like the GP2X and the Openpandora. With reasonably powerful specs

I recently got a GP2X WIZ, and one of its few exclusive games, Redemption: Liar. Since this company no longer exists, I wanted a way to play my copy of the game on a normal SD card, so I don't have to put strain on a rare SD card.
