Just started listening to Mintjam's male singer covers of early 2000s galge/eroge songs and dang they're so soulful and good

might be something that got embedded in my brain via hearsay, but if memory serves, all of the earlygen npcs were given these really in-depth backstories because it was still undecided just how much it was going to be galge influenced, so a good bit of their offscreen lore was included in the bgm

I've been playing ToHeart and I think its nice that Hiroyuki ends up being a character. Its a weird thing to say, but sometimes the MC of galge end up being blank slates for self-inserting and I always prefer when that isn't the case. He's actually fairly cute at times too

I don't really know how to express what Sakura Wars means to me as a theatre actor by day, RPG podcaster by night, galge enthusiast by later-night, so this is just going to be my ongoing 30th anniversary thread of love for the series and the wonderful community and friends I've found because of it.

Jag har hört rövarhistorier om slagverkare som i brist på stockar spelat med galgar, men det går väl inte att rycka några hårstrån och sätta på en galge för att göra en impromptu stråke.

really funny how people want more social sim/romance aspects in FE but then refuse to engage in the genres that actually do give you more of that kind of relationship development (ex. otome, galge, dating sims, etc.)

The thing I ended up buying the most last week was... printed media! Legit shocking, but that's how it went. The Mandarake Galaxy in Nakano Broadway had a bunch of galge guides and other books, so I picked up a few for the pre-Amagami Enterbrain dating sims, including longtime fave Kimikiss. 😌

Also a humble console game haul this year, mostly galge that time has forgotten. Surprisingly, the Torneko games don't seem to have gone up in price for the most part post-HD. Maybe the GBA games have, but I'm whatever on that, the GBA is kinda bad—or at least lacking—for Mystery Dungeon, IMO.

rkyk shippers going "this is fine because ruka is a galge protag" to cope are killing me. that's not how galge protags work though. they pursue one girl at a time and that's why they are often not even flirts

my words, old man) i think he's just leaning on his old galge ways bc he doesn't know how else to pad things out before reaching the ending. but it's hurting rkyk, especially since he doesn't give yukki anything special anymore like he used to 😔 i think he doesn't want to tackle the complexities lol

What I meant mostly was, as someone who's main expertise is admittedly on the galge side of things, I always found it very curious that Side M's momentum on that corporate side was ever allowed to dwindle to begin with when clearly fan support is strong and Imas is strong enough for multiple pillars

[emd] Be Happy in the Real World Too, Okay? by Shiborikasuko
A Yuri-Hime series. After the protagonist plays a galge the 5 heroines show up in the real world. Intended as a harem story but only 2 of the 5 got much focus.

rettersted

Paper alert!! We used OSL dating to establish the age of the foundation of the mound supporting two monumental #StandingStones at Hagbard's Galge in southern #Sweden. Dating to 1400-1200 BCE, the mound appears to be slightly older than previously thought...🙂

This constitutes about half of my collection, by my count. I have posters that still aren't framed, including some non-galge ones that are nevertheless very on-brand for me that I'll try to make time to photograph soon. Point being, they're rad! Search for 販促ポスター on Yahoo and Surugaya and go nuts!
