I once had a manager who encouraged (directed) me to break my work into tasks. I gamely tried and spent a lot of time thinking about what tasks went into what I was trying to accomplish. But my work is relational and requires creativity, and the whole exercise just added more hours to my workday.

This morning was gloriously damp and gloomy, and this slug was on a trek across the greenbelt and somehow miraculously dodged bicycles, walkers, and doggos. I made it a little leaf carriage, and did a quick little transport to the grass for which it was headed.

"Maybe something you feel the need to do."

He gamely reaches over the bar and picks up a bottle of spirits.

"We found another secret lab of Hojos..." opens the bottle.
" oh I know for sure it isn't something I'd want too"

Reno had really expected questions. He supposes he's a fool then. But he isn't defeated.

"I think you at least want to hear the proposal?"
