There's a twist in the African Daisy saga, these are the ones I gave my friend, she's got a white and purple one

Which is also definitely not what was supposed to be in that mix 😆

I am having the WORST luck with African Daisy their year 😂

I remember this Gerbera being a beautiful soft orange colour, and after babying it along all winter indoors, it looks like it's reverted

What a dissappointment!

I actually like orange, just not neon pylon...

The terracotta pot on the right has the sorghum, the left just has crab grass & another weed These are also supposed to have bluestem grass and none of that germinated

My massive tomato harvest for 2026...

We had a cold storm last week that knocked back all the plants

They were starting to grow again so I thought the toms would be okay to leave out to ripen, I was wrong.

Just composted SO many rotten tomatoes ☹️

Harvest basket with a handfull of tomatoes, a couple ripe peppers and a dahlia top I accidentally knocked off Beds with all the tomato plants pulled out The eggplant, tomatillos & peppers survived because they were so overgrown by the tomatoes It is still possible it was actually blight blowing through, but the same storm took out some peppers, burdock & queen ann's lace, as well as knocking over a lot of the dahlias, so I'm sure it was just colder than I realized It sounded like hail but I didn't see any

The same past Alex who planted mint in ground a few years ago 🤦heard about sunchokes and decided to try them. Nothing grew. I thought they were dead. THEY WERE NOT DEAD
They've taken over half my front bed. It's going to take days to dig (most of) them out. I'll never get them all. 😩

Package of seeds from OSC of African Daisy Aurantiaca Hybrid Incredibly bright orange flowers, It's too bad my phone won't pick up the colour properly because it's actually quite hiliarious how bright these flowers are, you can see them from across the yard I'll eventually need to pull them out because what I have growing in the pots are cypress vine (white) and crimson rambler morning glory (red) so they're going to clash very badly, but they can stay for now
