Only just got round to listening to last week's #GardenersQuestionTime. The team conclusively disproved, but explained, one of those old opinions about plants that I long knew to be wrong: Fatsia japonica is NOT frost tender, it just doesn'like wet feet.

Agree 100% with the #gqt #GardenersQuestionTime panel re Bearded Iris liking it's own company and plenty of sun... except for one I look after, var. unknown, which found its way under an old espalier apple, with roses further shading it... and it flowers it's socks off. 🤔

Question on this week's #GardenersQuestionTime #GQT about a concrete planter, and no panel member mentioned painting it with liquid manure/pee/yogurt to age it. What is the world coming to?

Gardeners or generally outdoorsy people - have we got tadpoles?! Or... something else? 🤔😬

Half-heard a #GardenersQuestionTime (I think @bbcGQT few weeks ago) about value of repotting chilli plants. Did expt on three plants - all originally of same size as that in pot with red arrow (my control). The two re-pots (white) have flourished, flowered & grown incredibly!
