Good morning Bluesky

Just back from Max's walk and the suns starting to break through the high cloud. I now need to find the motivation to face the ironing pile!

Whatever your plans are for today. Have a good Wednesday.

My Hostas are doing well mthis year... Hot sun = fewer snails and slugs? #photography #Nature #art #Garening #Hostas

Same Kajari melons, 16 days later. Just a little longer before they turn orange and will be ready to harvest. I've been looking forward to these all year! #garden #garening #kajari #charlotte

I’m trying a new growing cage I constructed from chicken wire for my passion fruit vine volunteers who emerged in the milkweed. Vines are already crawling up the middle-hopefully the stakes will hold. #wildflowers #garening #bloomscrolling

This week I started all of my peppers. Last year I messed up the habanero because I harvested too soon but the pizza and purple jalapeno were amazing. I took at year off from shishito and the early jalapeno are new this year. These are all in the aerogarden to start. #garening

#garening. Continuing #greenhouse #Coolaroo #Shade #Cloth #DIY fabrication for our #Yardistry Greenhouse, #Zone5A in #WI.

I planted out a cover crop of peas, oats, rye and hairy vetch yesterday and now comes the maddening of the waiting.

I know this will improve my sandy soils. I know that this is the best choice i can make.

But i am also missing growing vegetables in the garden during the fall.

(I of course do not mean "garening", as [mechanized] "farming" and "gardening" are wildly different things.)
