Gasteropods generally
Slugs, snails, terrestrial or aquatic
Come in so many colours and shapes

When i kept aquaria i had several varieties of snail; nassarius, babylon, turbo, nerite

All awesome (although nerites like to wander outside of the aquarium which is a problem

CW: bugs, somehow

Cabrillas. Which is just big-ass snails in tomato sauce. You can ask for just snails, and they serve you snack-sized gasteropods. Cabrillas on the other hand, are FAT and slimy and you have to slurp them up from their shells like *intense suction sound* 🤢🤢
what's a traditional food of your people/culture that everyone else seems to love that you absolutely cannot stand?

for me it is vada pav. Vada is incredible, pav is fantastic, in combination they cancel each other out and become a black hole of anti-taste

Yes, very much!
Most gasteropods really :>
I think Sacoglossan sea slugs are very cool. They eat algae and steal the chloroplasts and become photosynthetic animals!

(2/2) Saperlipopette, it's 💩 of terrestrial gasteropods (#smugs and/or #snails)! As if they had ingested rust uredospores (deliberately?), which then coloured their excrements. Some similar observations have been made in the past --> doi: 10.2307/3545421; doi:10.1002/ecy.2966.
