Something simple like a gatelock/swivel-lock should do the trick

i think this site desperately needs to gatelock a few QOL features and add a $5-$10 sub

small edit window, bookmarking tags, increased upload limit, timed posts, feels like probably enough plus a roadmap with additional paid features and other than the edit window not an insane amount of dev time

This is such a business-brain idiot move. The thing is, they can't gatelock a fucking paper hobby with decades of legacy books the way they can control a software-only product, so... good luck, fuckos. Enjoy watching line go up, then wobble, then plunge.

I'll give Nintendo this much, they don't arbitrarily gatelock you from using last-gen pads across the board (to my knowledge)

There's actually no fuckin reason why Dualshock 4s can't be used on PS5 games

And if we are going to gatelock the bottom age limits to be a Congressperson, Senator or President than we can gatlock the ceiling as well - 75 seems to be a reasonable age to tell someone thank you, now go golf or whatever you find fun.

my room when i lived in a mobile home used to be a kitchen, they moved all the appliances into a diy porch, and walled my room off with roofing sheets
my door was the same & had a tiny gatelock as the only thing keeping it closed

i wish i had any record of this but i burned all my bridges long ago
