It's definitely long. Feels significantly bigger than the Gen3Evo (Nissan have what purports to be one of those here) when standing next to it.

I don't think there are any better options, though? Brands and Donington are about equally inaccessible, the ExCeL is frankly too small for the Gen3Evo let alone the Gen4, and as far as I can tell nobody was really interested in a proper street race.

The Formula E Gen3Evo has AWD I don't see how that can possibly have looser packaging requirements than the LMDh chassis. I think LMDh v1.0 is OK enough but the second iteration seems to have even less freedom and I wonder how different the cars will manage to be.

元F1ドライバーのデビッド・クルサードが、フォーミュラEの次期マシンGEN4をモンテカルロ市街地コースでテストドライブ。その驚異的な速さに驚いたようだ。 フォーミュラEは次の2026-2027シーズンから、GEN4と呼ばれる新世代マシンを投入予定。既にテスト走行が開始されている。 このGEN4は常時四輪駆動で、出力もこれまでの350kWから600kWに激増。馬力に換算すると800馬力の出力を誇るモンスターとなる。 このGEN4を、先日行なわれたモナコE-Prixの際に、元F1ドライバーのクルサードがドライブ。その驚異的なパフォーマンスについて、息を切らしながら興奮気味に語った。「モナコでこれほどの加速を経験したことはないよ」 そうクルサードは語った。「彼ら（フォーミュラEに参戦するドライバーたち）はレースの世界で、これまで誰も経験したことのないような体験をすることになるだろう。言葉が出ないよ。なんてマシンだ」 クルサード曰く、新しいGEN4は、現行のGEN3とは比べ物にならないという。「GEN3とはまったく比較にならない。GEN3、GEN3Evoが出た時には最先端だったけど、GEN4は四輪駆動だ」「コーナーでの加速は、これまで経験したことのないような感覚だ。エイペックスを抜けると、どんなに攻めても耐えられるだろうなということに気付く。こりゃあ普通のレーシングカーじゃないよ。レーシングカーの概念を塗り替えるクルマだ」「長年にわたって数多くのクルマを運転してきた。だから、四輪駆動車の感覚は理解しているつもりだけど、1000kg以下の車重のクルマなのに、800馬力以上のパワーがあるから、驚異的な加速なんだ」 クルサードはその加速の素晴らしさを、自身にもゆかりのある映画作品になぞらえてこう語った。「トンネルを抜ける時の感覚は、まるでスターウォーズのハイパードライブ（並行宇宙を通って光速よりも速く別の地点に移動する、いわばワープのようなもの）みたいだった！」「あのトンネルは何千回も通ったけど、こういう感覚は初めてだったね」 なおクルサードは2005年にレッドブルに加入。その年のモナコGPで同チームは、スターウォーズとコラボレーションした。その一環としてピットクルーは、ストームトルーパーの格好に扮し、ピット作業を担当した。
