Another big release day! Python 3.13.1 and 3.12.8 were regularly scheduled releases, but they do contain a few security fixes. That makes it a nice time to release the security-fix-only versions too, ...

Installing some OpenBSD ports. Since not a lot of effort is put into building macppc binary packages, I'm having to build from source.
Reminds me of Gentoo Linux from a couple of decades ago...

After a grueling 3 days of typing away at my laptop, I installed base #gentoolinux but I gave up installing the DE. I went back to #ArchLinux, but i used openrc. So it wasn't a total loss.

So, the ThinkPad is still in install mode but that is okay because it's now got 1TB of ssd space, and is oartioned so the Home Directory will be separated from the actual OS.
