just discovered that onedrive hasn’t been eating my files, it’s been saving multiple copies but messing up my geodatabase index so none of them are accessible to me

How awesome would it be if every thesis, publication and even just field notes were in a searchable geodatabase?

Hearing of Nick Zentner now mining unpublished data of now passed Professor Paul Hammond’s research on volcanic terranes makes me think…

“That belongs in a Geodatabase!”

Me trying to do my geodatabase homework: This data isn’t even based… 😔😔😔

The USDA could very easily make this an interactive map, easier to see precise forest amenities being targeted— but instead they trotted out a PDF map that doesn’t show much (other than raw greed).

Someone should FOIA the ESRI geodatabase and ArcPro geoprocessing steps used to make these maps.

🌍 African #savanna science is heavily skewed: 46% of studies come from just 2% of #ProtectedAreas. Using the new ADSPA geodatabase, this work identifies five #bioclimatic groups and reveals major research gaps across underrepresented savannas. 🐘

professional software, like many. Particularly arcGIS Pro, the worlds premier mapping/geodatabase software. Been around since before (?) the eighties, still not even on Mac. QGIS is an open source alternative, but many organizations still prefer you use the standard; so it goes!

Sent the SHA historical archaeology conference poster to printer. I can stop fiddling with the poster but not with the associated story maps.

(Still) Wish ESRI would fix the Copy Rows and/or Table to Geodatabase tool so that the import field types can be specified before import like the old depreciated Table to Table tool #GIS #ESRI #GISChat
