The Gigabyte BRIX BRU9-386H is the first member of the BRIX family to feature an Intel Core Ultra (Series 3) "Panther Lake" processor, and while some folks might be disappointed that it lakes a chip with 12-core Intel Arc B390 integrated graphics, there's at least one advantage. Systems with Intel Core Ultra X chips with higher-performance graphics only support up to 96GB of LPDDR5x memory, which is usually soldered to a computer's motherboard.

The Gigabyte BRIX Extreme mini PC is getting a modest spec bump this year. The new BRIX GB-BER7-8840 is a 139.1 x 134.2 x 43.8mm (5.5" x 5.3" x 1.7") computer with an AMD Ryzen 7 8840U "Hawk Point" processor, 2.5 Gb Ethernet, and support for up to four displays. It's very similar to the BRIX GB-BER7-7840 from 2023. The only real difference is that it has a newer processor, but the only difference between the Ryzen 7 7840U and 8840U chips is that the newer model has a slightly higher-performance NPU that delivers 16 TOPS of AI performance rather than 10 TOPS.

Gigabyte is introducing three new mini PCs with Intel Core Ultra (Series 3) Panther Lake chips inside. Available with up to an Intel Core Ultra 9 386H 16-core mobile processor, the little computers may not have the discrete-class graphics you'd get from Intel Core Ultra X chips, but you do get plenty of expansion and I/O features in a compact package. The new Gigabyte BRIX systems measure 119 x 113 x 34mm (4.7″ x 4.4″ x 1.4″) and support up to 128GB of RAM, up to two M.2 SSDs, and support 2.5 GbE LAN and WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4.

Gigabyte's upcoming BRIX GB-BRR7-450 packs AMD's new Zen 5-based Ryzen AI 400 processors into a compact 11.9 x 11.3 x 3.4 cm chassis with support for up to 96GB DDR5 RAM and PCIe 5.0 storage.
