Earlier this year mini PC maker MINISFORUM launched a compact desktop computer called the MINISFORUM AI X1 Pro. With an AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 Strix Point processor, it combined a 12-core, 24-thread CPU with 16-core graphics and an NPU that delivers up to 50 TOPS of AI performance. But with a $929 starting price, the little computer may be a bit expensive for some potential customers.

Earlier this year Asus introduced a mini PC called the ExpertCenter PN54 with support for up to an AMD Ryzen AI 7 350 Krackan Point processor. Now the company is adding a new model called the ExpertCenter PN54-S1 to the family. The two computers are the same shape and size and have the same set of ports. The Gigabyte BRIX Extreme mini PC is getting a modest spec bump this year. It's very similar to the BRIX GB-BER7-7840 from 2023. The only real difference is that it has a newer processor, but the only difference between the Ryzen 7 7840U and 8840U chips is that the newer model has a slightly higher-performance NPU that delivers 16 TOPS of AI performance rather than 10 TOPS.

The AOOSTAR G-Flip is an unusual mini PC that has a 5 inch touchscreen display on the lid, which can flip upward so it's visible from the front. When AOOSTAR first launched the G-Flip series nearly a year ago it was only available with an AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 Strix Point processor. But since then the company has expanded the lineup with models featuring Ryzen 9 8945HS Hawk Point and Intel Core Ultra Series 1 Meteor Lake processors.

The MSI Cubi Z AI 8M is a 136 x 132 x 50mm (5.4" x 5.2" x 2") computer with support for up to 64GB of DDR5-5600 memory, an M.2 2280 slot for a PCIe 4.0 x4  SSD, and plenty of I/O features including dual 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet ports, two HDMI ports, and seven USB ports. With support for up to an AMD Ryzen 9 8945HS Hawk Point processor, the little computer should offer decent CPU and graphics performance for most day to day tasks.

The Maxtang MTN-FP850 is a small desktop computer that measures 127 x 129 x 55mm (5" x 5.1" x 2.2") and features room inside for up to 96GB of user-replaceable memory and up to two SSDs. While the system isn't yet available for purchase, Maxtang has posted a product page with specifications and other details on its website, so we know that the mini PC will be available with AMD Ryzen AI 200 "Hawk Point" and Ryzen AI 300 "Strix Point" processor options.
