ice cold honeycrisp apples (low glycemic index and glycemic load all-stars) are the absolute bestest thing when you are 1) dehydrated and 2) have no business eating late at night but want something sweet because your brain is a menace.

“Wearables” can be dismissed as a scam. His friends the Means & Hyman sell them: expensive products that provide no benefit. But the rationale is also stupid & the exact same reasoning as Elizabeth Holmes/Theranos. If you don’t have glycemic issues, how does tracking glucose by the minute help you?

Barley is basically a miracle grain for blood sugar and cholesterol issues. Wildly low glycemic index in particular.

The sourdough thing is about blood sugar. Sourdough has a lower glycemic index (doesn't spike your blood sugar) for most people, so it was recommended to my husband who has Type 2 diabetes.
Taylor Swift was on a podcast talking about how people who are gluten free can eat sourdough. Anyways, as a person with Celiac, I can confidently say "no the fuck we can't." Sourdough bread is not gluten free. Do not feed sourdough bread to gluten intolerant people or people who have Celiac.
