This was a weird season. Its the longest season after goranger at 55 eps and two short movies. Its definitively the strongest paramilitary season but all of the generals get arcs that I was mostly not expecting even if it did not make me care much about them.

Hell, I remember Himitsu Sentai Goranger (or Gorenger), the granddaddy of 'em all, and the color palette was exactly the same, plus green and pink (I watched this on local TV while living on Okinawa as a tween in the mid-70's & had a crush on the Pink Ranger).

I think this was 2017 to 2018, during the time when Goranger, JAKQ, Denziman, Goggle V, Dynaman, Flashman, Turboranger, and Fiveman weren't fully subbed yet.

in a roundabout way? Battle Fever J was originally the first super sentai series before Goranger and JAKQ got retroactively added to the brand, and Battle Fever J started off as an Avenger series, but then Marvel pulled out of production and it was retooled.
