Synthwave Amiga dreams 💜
Here is the Pentium III all built. I will not be using a CD ROM or floppy drive in this, just a gotek temporarily to set it up. But I do want to get it it's own PicoIDE and Gotek eventually.

After an interesting start to the morning, boiler with frozen condensate pipe, time to finish this project. Get the Gotek installed in here.

Back onto the Gotek this lunchtime. Checking the OLED wiring is correct before I solder the headers in for the rotary encoder. Nice.

My FrankenAmiga 500 is coming together. Got the Rev6A motherboard from UK. Keyboard arrived today from Germany. Mouse from US. New KeeLog PSU. New RGB to SCART for HDMI via RetroTINK. PiStorm on order. Booting from Gotek for now. #amiga #amiga500 #frankenamiga #retrocomputing

I pulled an old Amiga 500 out of a box and it is yellow as a banana. It works though! Is a Gotek the best thing for an Amiga 500 or is there a flash solution that’s better? …short of a hard drive sidecar

it definitely boots, I was able to test that. not sure about the drives, but it supports a Gotek, and I have one lying around :)

Fake 8” floppy drive let’s GO. Now to work out where to get the 5v rail for the gotek that ls going to be hidden in there.
