This is a fab read. Chimes sooo much.

The protagonist in my novel, The Disinformation War, is autistic but undiagnosed for plot reasons. While writing it, I didn't know I am autistic. My diagnosis came just before GoldSF formally accepted my proposal. I mention all that in the acknowledgements.
I wrote about my personal set of rules for writing autistic characters and why it’s time for more own-voices authors open.substack.com/pub/fallsint...

Gold SF is dedicated to discovering and publishing new intersectional feminist science fiction, promoting voices that answer to the unprecedented times in which we find ourselves, and orientated towards to social, economic, and environmental justice.

And we make some stunning book covers 😊

Good morning, Womble. Ooh, Fiona's short fiction is superb.
I am reading a preview copy of a new collection of Vonda N. McIntyre's short fiction - Little Sisters and Other Stories - out soon from GoldSF/Goldsmiths. Covers her first published to a previously unpublished piece. Fascinating range.

I also didn't think I would be seeing quite so clearly the nonfictional parallels with my novel, The Disinformation War, published in 2023 by GoldSF.
