Do you ever put gakdugi 궁물 (I hope I am referring to that correctly...) in your gomtang or seolleongtang broth?

My favorite way to have it!

And of course, much good food has been had! Not pictured is our apple jelly filled "croissant bungeoppang" and yuja-ade, which had chopped yuzu and bits of fruit jelly in it. Walking up Inwangsan took a lot of energy, so even after the ridiculously huge dinner portions, I had a street food appetite.
Breakfast of grape slushy (what they call a smoothie, but I disagree), some kind of sweet potato bun (shaped like a purple sweet potato), and an egg and bacon toast across the table. A bowl of gomtang -beef and rice soup. The obligatory kimchi. Closeup of two huge slices of donkatsu (like a pork schnitzel covered in sauce), with sides of macaroni salad, cabbage slaw, and rice.

Kai Hwanwoo's favorite food is Dakgomtang (Korean Chicken Soup)! His grandmother had taught him how to make it for her husband and ever since, he's always the most reliable in prepping a nice hot dish for his team, OR/ON! His favorite drink is taro bubble tea with tapioca pearls!

娘曰く「今まで食べたご飯で1番美味しかった！」だそうです。凄くさっぱりしててご飯が中に入っているらしい。

食べてみたいなぁ….と呟いたら(いつも)、「俺も食べたい」とのｵｯﾄ。レシピを探していたので、もしかしたら近々作ってくれるのだろうか…🤭
