For eight decades, CARE has stood on the frontlines, fighting poverty, and responding to crises. At present, the climate crisis is the greatest multiplier of poverty and inequality, undoing decades of progress. From the CARE Package as a post-war relief initiative, to humanitarian and development interventions amidst disasters, conflict, and an ever-changing economy, to putting the voices of vulnerable communities at the center to call for hashtag#GrantsNotLoans during climate conferences, our mission remains the same: empowering the most vulnerable—especially women and girls—to lead. Coordinating and enabling the integration of climate justice and resilience across CARE’s development and humanitarian work, the CARE Climate Justice Center is committed to ensuring the next years bring a just and equitable world where all communities can adapt and thrive. Join us as we honor CARE's legacy during this milestone. The fight for justice continues. 💪 🔗 Learn how we're working on climate justice: www.careclimatechange.org
