I had to stop watching "Attack of the Vegan Zombies" because the scene/whole movie? was set at a vineyard and they were pruning the grapevines badly at the beginning of it, or it was the wrong time of year for pruning, or both. It was a while ago and I don't remember specifics, just the annoyance
#FilmSky, a quick question; what is the pettiest thing you have had to be annoyed at a film? I ask because I am watching The Gift from 2000, and the main character does divination with Zener Cards, which are not the same thing as Tarot at all. Why go for a more boring looking option?

Why ? I love raccoons? I lived in a house in a national forest where they would knock on my door everyday around noon and ask for a hot dog? You killed all the grapevines so the raccoons couldn’t eat them ? If you left the grapevines they probably would have left the rest of your garden alone?

Someone on Reddit mentioned something that stuck with me: you can trace a place's history through plants left behind. Old orchards leave hawthorn, grapevines, feral apples. Old gardens leave daffodils. A kind of "bio-archaeology" 🌱

I’ll freely admit to having a bias against Mark Carney bc through professional grapevines we don’t need to get into I have heard secondhand what he was like as a boss at the BoE and er….

Not sexual harassment or anything but not a nice person

Göcklingen, 10k Race

Wonderful race running alongside grapevines and half -timbered houses and cobbledstone. Half trail and the other half old village. 2 laps with 50m elevation gain.

That was very nice.

Yes! I got so spoiled having neighbors with grapevines, I can't abide what winds up in grocery stores.😬💚

One of my neighbours is doing exactly this, he has planted about 600 trees in the past year in his paddock next to mine on the same river but 200km downstream. I'm interested in how he goes, biggest issue will be more tiger snakes, vicious little bastards!
