Alphinaud in post-HW learned about some events of 30-50 DRK, and in confronting her about it got berated, hard.
It was a reckoning for how he treated her in the past, particularly ARR. But their recent time together shaped how they both handled it, and they came out closer for it.

As of today (pre-EC) Peridot has overcome much of the worst in life.

With the end of one arc of her life and the start of the next, she's accepting change within herself, and that she's getting older. And as part of that she has started growing her hair out and wearing glasses. 🧵

A Tale of Grayflame (Pre-ARR)

Peridot took the title Grayflame for similar reasons to Estinien Wyrmblood (who she would one day befriend).
She would become a Dark Knight in all but name and soul crystal, driven by that creed of justice and vengeance.

Raised as a hunter, Peridot arrived in Eorzea as an archer. After the battle with Titan however it became clear she needed something greater, but would not become a Bard seeing no use in it then. She instead found the Marauders for their strength, and eventually became a Warrior.

Backstory basics pitch:
Peridot Grayflame, a transfem Seeker that took a non-traditional name to separate from that society. Through her I often explore the line between DRK and PLD. By present day she is both in harmony, with a (working) class title of Valiant.
