Well said. Greedflation doesn't get solved with interest rates rises. Greedflation is enabled by the system and just looks after the rich 🤬

Meanwhile, corporations are laughing all the way to the bank. #Greedflation

According to the media. Either way it's always the governments fault, spending too much causing inflation, or scaring people into not spending at all, triggering a recession. #Auspol

Any article about inflation in Australia that mentions none of the words "price gouging", "wage suppression", "corporate greed" or "unlawful cartel" isn't worth shit.

We have companies in this country today making all-time record profits.

You must suffer so the rich can live beyond their means.
Has government spending added to inflation? These charts tell the story
The Reserve Bank is tipped to increase interest rates tomorrow because of an ongoing concern that inflation is not under control. But is there an alternative?

Inflation is a feedback loop in which higher prices force workers to demand higher wages, resulting in higher prices, then higher wages. Today, as prices skyrocket and corporate profits soar, wages remain pretty flat. GOP blames inflation, but it's price gouging and greedflation.

But then how would they get rid of the workers, that used to look after those things. #Greedflation

#PriceGauging and #Greedflation continue while corporations still making record breaking profits and PAY NO TAXES…..

Greedflation is alive and well as BP laughs at the Chancellor.
BP quarterly $8.46bn (£6.3bn)
profits hit ‘obscene’ 18-year high.

Shareholders and execs profit from wars, household and business hit hard.

No curbs on profiteering. Will fuel inflation and poverty.

Chancellor didn't levy windfall tax on energy companies.

Not really unless they impose windfall profit tax…. #Greedflation and #PriceGauging has gone on too long….

“Just buy less Starbucks”

Is not a solution for greedflation

Sounds good, but is anyone passing it on to the consumer, or are they just adding it to their #Greedflation profit?

Privatisation and outsourcing have been the biggest failures of recent history. The BS argument that private companies run more efficiently, maybe true, but this just adds to their profits, and the savings are never seen by the consumer. #Auspol #Greedflation

It's a good observation. I think the bigger factor is the age-old misinformation bubble. We constantly underestimate it.

Fox/hate radio hits us day after day with "Biden's economy sucks - COL is killing us!". Meanwhile *Greedflation* doesn't pierce the bubble.

Greedflation is more accurate.

Shrinkflation. Greedflation. I hope the new Congress spends their time investigating these corporate grifters. This can have an immediate impact on consumer prices.

We've also talked about how during high spikes in prices caused by supply chain disruptions, firms can inflate prices by more - www.nominalnews.com/p/evidence-o...
Evidence of 'Greedflation'?
Recent development and research suggest ‘greedflation’ may come in different forms.

To the extent we’re talking about inflation at all, I believe the anger is at “greedflation” & how it is fueled by cartelization & monopoly rather than price levels per se.
