Places like the Greenzones will be protected from these harmful facilities.

I want to note that because state law is involved, the legislative process on this moratorium is complicated. After our vote yesterday, the moratorium is in effect. 15/

Yes, but they stopped doing that in the 80's and from 2000 they are demolishing streets to create greenzones, pedestrian area's and new housing. Somebody finally learned from history. And now we have in Germany, walkable cities with lively city-centers where people can enjoy their free time.

Yup.
As giant, tall fortifications.
Quite similar to how US bases and "greenzones" were constructed in Iraq.

This is the second notable example recently, the first being a massive overnight deployment to encircle snd capture Peoples Park in Berkeley.

Taking notes as London contemplates turning a major thoroughfare into a pedestrian zone #transportation #publicspace #safestreets #greenzones #publictransport #trafficcalming #saferoutes #visionzero usa.streetsblog.org/2024/12/02/w...

Yep... Some saw it coming. Or just "suburbia creep" NEARLY 50 years ago: Creating laws/zoning restrictions. AGzoning and GreenZones. NOT w/o a Fight I might add; Realtors, ChambersofCommerce, builders, speculators; any limits on their perceived "RIGHT" to take EVERY opportunity to make money. Urrrgh

Its funny how much #moderntravel, primarily through the #US, reminds me of the old #USSR KGB "Your papers are not in order" scenes in old movies. Saw this coming when #trump wanted #greenzones like in #Freejack. Would #Epstein Island be a green zone for the wealthy?

In unserem Fall sehr sinnvoll. That´s all.

Now I need to decide what to call communities... Greenzones?
