Over the past 5 years, staff and leadership have achieved remarkable progress, reducing carbon footprint by 14% overall, and by more than 68% since 1990. These achievements not only improve patient care but also generate cost savings and support a healthier planet. 🌍 However, this journey is ongoing. The #GreenerNHS comprehensive sustainability strategy is now asking suppliers to step up and align their practices. This includes publishing detailed Carbon Reduction Plans, adopting low-carbon technologies, and engaging transparently through tools like the Evergreen Sustainable Supplier Assessment. Over 2,000 suppliers globally, have committed to these efforts.
