My calatheas are really testing my inner peace today. So beautiful, but they demand *so much* attention! Send good vibes (and maybe some humidity spells?) to these dramatic queens. 😩🌿✨ #plantparent #greenwitch

My basil is thriving. She was just a little guy when I got her. She’s a big girl now. 🥹

Letting her flower so I can collect seeds and make more of her. She’s a real keeper. 🖤

Dear lovely folks, I thought you might like to know that I have a short prose piece ("Greenwitch") in this gorgeous collection of Green Women paintings by Brian Froud and the poems/stories women writers wrote about them. It's on sale now, so do order it! :)

One of the first herbalism books I've ever read, finally came across a well-loved copy for my own collection. #WitchSky #GreenWitch #Herbalism

If you like urban fantasy with lots of queer & trans rep (STRAW SONG & STRAW SOUL), romantasy with social justice (STRAW MAN), or horror comedy where terrible people are savagely eaten (WENDIGOGO), I gotchu. No AI slop, yes sensitivity readers, most platforms or direct from graythornpub.com !

Your cup of tea is primarily water 💧 I think it is the single most important ingredient of your tea 🍵 If you cannot get clean, pure water, then at least bless your water so as to add positivity to its cells 💧 🍵

There's benefit to having read it before GREENWITCH, I think, because one of the most affecting themes of that book is the mundane, Hardy Boysesque adventure of OS/US running into Will's full-blown fantasy world, and just how disturbing that is.

I read book 2 first, which stood me in good stead

Though I think GREENWITCH is actually the weakest

Apparently I loved it so much I forgot all the other titles. Objectively I know there must be other titles but in my heart they are all The Greenwitch.

Didn’t she retcon that as the start? Over Sea, Under Stone was initially a stand alone, then she wrote Dark is Rising later and in doing Greenwitch realized she could use the characters she previously introduced in the sequel and tie it together

I agree with this take. I've read all of them a lot of times now, but my first was Greenwitch, for school in 4th grade. I was a big reader and had to drag myself through it. I'm sure the teacher chose it for length, but I found it confusing and dull without OSUS. Now I think it's great.

I’m reading it with my 10 year old now and we liked Over Sea, Under Stone just fine but now we are 2/3 of the way through Greenwitch and are totally hooked
