Ten firefighters, a rope rescue team, the coastguard and the RNLI were all involved in a "complex" rescue at Grosnez yesterday – which also had a Royal Navy ship and a French helicopter on standby to help. Jersey Fire and Rescue Service received a call at around 11:00 on Thursday 31 July about a person who appeared to be stuck on rocks at the base of the Pinnacle and unable to get back up.
