Long COVID can cause persistent gut problems, including diarrhoea, abdominal pain, nausea, constipation and IBS. Around 22% report GI symptoms and 10% diarrhoea. Possible causes include immune activation, gut barrier disruption and microbiome changes, but more research is needed.

"Trump's gut" told him Iran's got nukes.
Same gut that told him:

-COVID would disappear by Easter
-disinfectant might be medicinal if you inject it
-he won the 2020 election
-tariffs lower prices

At this point, we should assume Trump’s "gut” is actually a 2nd, dumber brain that lives in his colon.

100% trust your gut when your gut tells you to block or mute someone, here or anywhere. Your gut will tell you things your brain was socialized to ignore, rationalize or excuse. Your gut is your friend. Your brain is your friend too, just the unreliable one who wants to go down into a dark basement.
I'm too nice about this. I like this approach.

I'm adding that I will block or mute you if you're weird to me about my lewds.

This is mostly @ folks who thirstily bring up my body/pics in unrelated convos, but I'm gonna also go with my gut.

It feels like work to interact with you, you're gone.
Also FYI, my blocking policy for BlueSky is:

- no strikes
- no warnings
- no hesitation
- no mercy

The first time I see an account be phobic, trollish or sea lion-y, to me or anyone, that's it, out of the pool, I won't even snark at you first, you do not deserve my delicious scorn, just gone, bye.

While a human’s brain catches up to a problem a few seconds after their gut instinct, with orcs it’s more like a few minutes.

This is why they’re dangerous in numbers, their logic centres don’t have time to process what their impulse drives are doing, namely encouraging each other to drink & fight.
