I mean there *are* doctors to hire if you open up H1B visas again and negotiate Medical Reciprocity with some other countries with quality medical schools (there are lots).

How do data centers make local money? The construction jobs only last a year, robots clean the place, BS in Computer Science or 15 years experience required, tax breaks for owners, at most they hire 10 guys on H1B visas from China or India, white Americans won’t move there- no culture, discount pay.

I have stated this multiple times. IF they are offshoring OR automating your job, it's not H1B/immigrants or undocumented humans who are taking your job. It's the greedy ass robber baron overlords!

Earlier this year he made H1B employees stand up at a conference and told them that ICE was watching so they'd better work harder or else.

Microsoft sponsors over 9,000 H1B employees. Not that I think foreign workers should be laid off, but H1B visas are supposed to be for jobs that cannot be filled with American citizens. Can any of the 6,000 employees to be laid off replace one of those visas?

So, I'm not in tech. But it really seems like tech is a pretty hard field right now and that a lot of jobs have been lost and a lot of people are looking. Is the H1B thing really coming primarily from above with Republicans like Miller, or from tech/job seekers?
